Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She was first known for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s and Tezaab, which she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. Her next appearance on screen was Dil along with Aamir. Early on, as a teenager in the middle class of Mumbai, she learned to dance. She started acting when an infant and was struggling for several years because most of her initial films failed. Then she found her way to success and was one of the most well-known actors in the Indian film business. Following her wedding, she took some time to rest from her acting career until she returned. In recent years, Dixit was a key player as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India is awarded to Dixit. Her fame is based on her social works as well.
